i kind of want a acura tsx, I currently drive a 99 honda prelude that i bought cause i loved it and now that i own it I realised it has way too many Km's on it to get a decent resale and i dont feel like owning it anymore, too much work needed to get it to how i want it.

how much do they run in the states?

    04, loaded 6mt(if possible) Under 90,000 KM

TSX is pretty weak. Little 4-banger in a fairly big and heavy car. Mileage is about the same as I get with my CL-S6.

its a nice car, but I'd rather hold-out for a TL.

They have a brand new model out of the TSX, btw. I like the old one, but the new one is bigger, uglier and has a wimpy 200hp 4 banger. I'd rather get the old gen TSX or the IS250/350 if you're after a newer car.

i cant afford a IS but would love one

    my price is 15-20grand

I own a company that makes about 65k yearly So even a lease (i can writeoff 800/m) Would be doable. and do my own work too, Im still in college and even though financing/leaseing a car Is a dumb idea when in school.

I wouldnt mind having a nicer car + i think the prelude may crap out on me sooner or later.

try the last gen IS300. get an inline 6 with a wee more torque than the TSX's 4. IS has better interior feel, roomier and bigger luggage. Excellent for a DD.

I disagree. I've got an 06 Accord which is a bit bigger than the TSX. Mine is a 4cyl/5spd. I pull 30mpg average, and up to 34mpg on road trips. I have less power and more weight than a TSX and I've never found myself wanting for more when daily driving.

However I do know a few people with TSX's and they all seem to only get 26mpg or so average, maybe its the aggressive tune and gearing?

Look into an Accord. The new Accord has a 200hp 4cyl available in the EX models.

    And what's a CL-S6? Acura CL?

oh god, just looked at one online. front end is like a camry

even more weight for that 4cyl to carry around? Exactly how comfy is it to drive your family around and need to keep the revs at 6500rpm to get through traffic...?

one thing i will say about them is that its really easy to make them look good. Tint and a slight drop with some nice wheels and your done. The OEM bodykit and the Mugen kit look great on it
