My company is leasing me a car. They will lease me a TL with nothing out of my pocket (except of basic upkeep). Or I could get a C55 is I pay the difference in the monthly payment out of pocket ($300 or so). Is it worth the extra money to drive an excellent car vs. the free really good car?

as much as i would prefer to have the C55 over the TL, you just can't beat having a nice car like the TL with no car payment. not as nice or cool to have as a C55 but this hsould be a no brainer. i would take the free TL anyday over paying any car payment. is it the newer TL's. if so, they're pretty nice to begin with even if it's FWD. you have my vote, i say go for the freebie. the TL ain't a bad car at all. driving it for free (other than gas and basic upkeep) makes it that much more attractive.

    just my $.02

Personally, I would take the free TL, its a damn nice car. Take that $300 and invest it or sink it into your mortgage. Pay off your house sooner, or buy a nicer house. With a bigger garage.

You may not have the free car deal forever, so make use of it now. Later on, with your house paid for, you can buy whatever car you want. You'll be way further ahead.

I really don't care for the TL, but given the chance to have one for free, I'd jump on it like a fat kid on a cupcake...

I need 4 doors this time around (kid on the way). When this lease is up, I'll get a new M3.

and now, just to make it more fun, I found last night that audi has some special financing going on and I can get an S4 for about 120 a month more than the TL.

go with the TL. ive seen a few C55s, and I am not all that impressed, especially when you can be driving a nice car for free. like everyone else said, keep the $300 a month and save it or invest it in something

Yeah, I'm leaning towards the S4. We're going to test drive a sedan tomorrow and swing by the house to see if the if the trunk is big enough for some of the baby stuff. If not, I'll probably go with the Avant. Audi as a sweet deal right now on interest rates so the difference in the Payment is pretty small given the 15k difference between the cost of the cars.

the smart, reasonable side of me says take the TL. the audi enthusiast, german car loving, 420hp V8 craving says take the S4. hell, im paying $500 a month for my A4. the kid on the way kind of makes me wonder though....would $120 a month really hurt you that bad??

Decided the S4 was worth kicking in some extra coin, so I picked it up yesterday. Here it is along with the rest of my toy collection. I'll post more pics later when I have the time.
