Acid build up when lifting

    Recently, I've been having a lot of acid build up in my stomach after about 15 mins of lifting. Why is this happening? It's really uncomfortable and is cutting my workouts short...

    Hmm... the last few times it was a while between eating and lifting... maybe that's it. I would think there would be more of an acid build up eating immediately before lifting

    If I eat anything sugary I get terrible heartburn when I work out.
