Nothing wrong. The 40 is a very decent round, I think tomash has other pistols in 40 so it's not a bad idea to standize. I like 40 a lot more than I like 45
.40 is the perfect handgun caliber... when the projectile is attached to 10MM brass.
I like the .40
I like jb...oops, wrong Tomash thread...
that was my first thought!!
I saw that too.
I like the .40 but don't think i have ever heard of a 1911 chambered in .40.
Tomash is a fucking idiot when it comes to guns. Sure .40 is a decent caliber but so are most of the other ones
Kimber makes a 3" 1911 that shoots 40. Can't remember the model, but a friend of mine has one.
The three calibers I really dislike are .380, 9x18, and .357 sig. As a reloader they are always mixed in my 9mm, and .40 brass. They are hard to find when doing the inital sort, but reloader always seems to find them when you get a good rhythum going on the machine.
Don't really know tomash but 90% of the people are noobs to a degree.
True dat but when it comes to fucking 12 year old girls and underage Azn bush he is a master.
Yes, he has an extensive collection of .40 cal airsoft replicas. He lives in Chicago, I don't think he has a real weapon outside of the Ka Bar.
Tomash doesn't own a handgun.
Springfield Armory EMP for one
why don't you like .357sig???
i assume 9x18 and .380 are too weaksauce
so who cares? I prefer .40 over other calibers. But I have nothing bad to say about 9mm or .45. Whatever you like, it'll stop someone damn near the same with todays ammo anyways regardless.
.40 is my least favorite caliber by far
My number one gripe is that it gets mixed in with my 40 brass. I pick up brass after the matches to reload. I got to keep an eye out for 357 sig as it is very similar to 40 except that it is necked of course. I often miss quite a few and as I'm reloading ammo on my press it just throws my whole rhytum off. The press won't resize it back to 40 (it might but it would be a huge wear on your dies). If you did shoot 357 sig being a necked case it's a pain to reload.
The ammo is expensive, even more so that other ammo which is expensive. I think 38 super would be similar enough and you get more capacity.
yeah i suppose ballistically its not really superior to anything
40 seems a little old, I would have guessed he like 9s.
LOL, I don't mind .357 sigs too much because they are somewhat rare occassion picking them up, and are fairly easy to spot the ones that throw me off when I'm on the handle are .380's, 9x18, 9x21's and the freakin Samll Pistol Primer .45's!
I check each brass, and for the most part have it down by touch now.
OTHER PEOPLES PERSONAL PREFERENCES PISS ME THE FUCK OFF!
