    WEP keys, which I believe are being replaced by WPA. Breakable.

    MAC ID's. A lot of the routers will allow you to specify that only computers with the MAC IDs that you enter can connect to the network. Secure as far as I know.

    Other steps to improve security at the access point/router:

    * Change default SSID
    * Change default password
    * Turn off SSID broadcast
    * Turn off DHCP server (use static IPs on your LAN)
    * Use a private IP range other than 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.x

    And all this is easily done?

    I was going to opt for anice netgear router, but cash is low so im going for something cheaper that doesnt have the security options of the netgear router.

    I'll get you a link to the Router im thinking of so you can tell me whats possible
