Everyone in this forum needs to read Unintended Consequences by John Ross.

Pick up "Patriots: Surviving the Coming Collapse." EXCELLENT book about the proverbial shit hitting the fan, HARD, and how a close group of friends who prepared themselves for the possibility of the collapse of society, survives in this post government collapse. Its an awesome book. Pick it up, I guarantee you will not be dissapointed in it at al :bigthumb:

One of my all time fave's aside from Benos book is Steve Andersons Dry-fire Refinement book.

Most people claim to "dry fire" but most don't do more than 10 minutes of drawing from their holster. And for most, it's just rehashing bad technique. You need to dry fire with some structure and commitment before you see any sort of real results.

If you wanted to read one competition shooting book I like Saul Kirsch "Thinking practical shooting".

    http://www.brianenos.com/pages/reviews.html#saul2

Covers many of the points in Brian Enos's book but modernized a bit.

I also really like Lanny Bassham's "With winning in mind".

    http://www.brianenos.com/pages/reviews.html#winning

This is the guy who created the whole concious mind, subconcious mind, mental programing stuff that Brian Enos hammers on. Actually I would recommend reading saul's book as a general competition shooting book, then lanny's book next to the mental thing down, then finally Brians book once you got a grasp on the concepts. Brians book should be read several times. I like to read it every time I make a major progression change or just before I start a trainining regime to gear up for a big match. You interprete parts of the book differently as your skill changes.
