Ive put at least 8 boxes of Blazer Aluminum through my gun and no problems except light primer strikes. No failure to feed, extract, etc. The light primer strike seems to have taken care of it self with the gun break in. Ive put 50 rds through it on Friday and 50 rounds on Saturday with no problems.

The problem with WWB is that it's dirty as fuck. I can actually see shit coming out the barrel and it turns the front of the muzzle light grey. Let's see, $15.77 for 100rds of WWB or $14.98 for 100 rds of Blazer Aluminum?

 I'm just giving you a hard time man.
You make like 30 threads a day about bulk ammo and about 10 a day about all these other guns you want to buy in the near future... you're just starting to sound like Thomor.
Not that that's a BAD thing or anything. I just wish I had that kind of money.

I really want an AR15 though. I been reading and for $1200 I might get a Colt or LMT and be done with it. I read they are much better and will last a long long time. But I figure im going to put less than 5000 rounds for the life of the gun so all that doesnt really matter.

I have not had issues with Blazer Brass. I don't know about Blazer Aluminum, because I don't think I've ever shot it.
I'm sure the gun you're shooting it out of matters as well.

Blazer isn't that bad. I know plenty of competitors that shoot Blazer ammo and have not had any issues.

That said, if you are willing to spend that much on ammo, why not get into reloading? Initial investment is right around 4-500$ for a GOOD press, a lot less for something LIke a Lee, you can get set up for less than $300. You can literally get that money back from your press in less than a year. Then after that you have gear that's paid for itself that will continue to pump out quality and CHEAP ammo for years and years. It's not uncommon for folks to have presses for 25+ years. The more you save the more you shoot. It's something rewarding to do when I'm not on the range as something "gun" related at home.

I can make 2k rounds of 9mm that is FAR superior to Blazer ammo for about $160. It makes all the difference in the world in terms of performance and reduced recoil.

2000 rounds for $160? Ill go read about reloading then. Have prices for powder and stuff gone up over the years?

Yes it has, but think of it as being on a "slide" with factory ammo. When it goes up, it all goes up. You will generally save half, or more than half of whatever factory ammo is.

But it's not a direct apples to apples comparison because you are comparing poor performing mass produced bottom barrel factory ammo to ammo with suprior compoents that has the ability to taylor to your exact gun. So in reality, you are saving far more than half in my mind.

If you were to compare actual comparible match grade ammo to reloaded match grade ammo, you are looking at a considerably higher 1:1 cost savings. I would say 60-80% less than actual comparible ammo.

I've been through several cases of 9mm blazer and will always buy it over wwb.
