I've done cable installs, knowing that you don't need any drivers, is dsl the same (assuming it's not USB)?? It seems as if it would be so, just wanted to confirm before I ran an install disk of probably nothing worth a crap... Verizon will be the provider

    Thanks

SWB makes you install some apps to get it set up initially, but once you get your account set up, you can uninstall it and set up your router to connect with your user name and password if they use PPPoE as SBC does.

As long as you already have a user name and password from SBC.

I wasn't provided one and when I called tech support they said I must install an app they included the first time I connected in order to get a user name and password to use on my router.
