I'm psyched can't wait to get it. It's a bit of a downgrade in power compared to my RX-7 but for the comfort of a DD I think its worth it. It's a 1999 Audi A4 quattro 2.8l w/ the 5 speed. Approximately 128k miles on it w/ all the scheduled maintenance done. The blue book value for my car was about 4k and for the Audi about 9k ... how I am selling mine for 5k and getting the audi for 5 I will never know... stupid blue book. And here's some pix.

I really really think I will. It's worlds apart as far as comfort and noise from the RX-7. I love my 7 but its too loud and too rough for anything but racing lol. I think the Audi is going to need a clutch soon and thats going to set me back about 600 bux doing it myself... but if it is as described that is nothing. I plan on putting a magnaflow muffler in place of the stock one because that engine sounds MEAN w/ it but idk how loud it is. I don't want another loud car lol.

magnaflow on a A4? just put a more performance tuning-branded (NOT fart can) muffler on it.

Well I will look into other's but the Magnaflow sounded great from the youtube clips.

and Sirius I thought the VW would have the vr6? I guess I could be completely wrong though.

    No yeah the 2.8L 30v, which I also have, is not a vr6 but a conventional v6

Lol I read that the first time you posted it I see you changed it. So what exhaust would you recommend that is still quiet but has a nice low tone.

Magnaflow makes quite a few different mufflers, so it's difficult to generalize the brand and how it will sound. $5k is a good deal for a '99. I love the color combo on that one
