    About time.. finally pulled 500..

God damn that took a while. Been stuck at the 480 + - 10lbs range for a while. I think its been more of a mental battle than anything else. Drove back to MD today to pick up the rest of my stuff for my move and on the way stopped at my coach's to discuss a new training template for me for my next meet (push/pull in may) and to review the dvd of the last meet I did. It went like this:

    135x10
    225x5
    315x3
    405x1 - belt
    455x1 - belt
    500x1 - belt

It was really nice to hit this raw since I just recently missed it at my meet. And now I get to concentrate on getting down to 198 for my meet in may.

Hah.. i get that feeling at the bottom of a squat when I have my suit/belt on. For deadlifts there isn't as much of a compression. I also keep my belt a little loose so I can press against it with my abs.

Nice man, congrats. According to F&N if you chalk up next time, you'll pull 900.

Nice work bro. I remember when you were still in the mid 3's. You've come along a bunch since then.

oh.. I forgot to mention I chalked and I popped an amonia cap (more to wake my ass up from the 4hr drive than anything). Without the chalk I can only lift like 135lbs. The amonia also helps me channel the power of Thor and Oden to which I credit most of my lifting success.
