About How Many Carbs Should I Get if I'm Cutting?

    I get in about 115g now. Im hearing i should get 100g. I weight 180 and im roughly 25% bf. All of my carbs come from either whole wheat bread of fruit pretty much.

    its a trial and error thing but if youre really that fat just concentrate on calories and protein don't worry about other stuff.

    depends on your body.. some people do good on low carbs and others don't

    During my cut I consumed like ~35 grams of carbs a day.

    Unless you're specifically trying to get into ketosis 115g is fine...even higher. So long as you're getting your optimum protein intake, EFA's and remaining in a caloric deficit.

    Try bumping it up to 250-300g to the lowest of the low gly carbs like, oats, yams, sweet tatters, refried beans, black beans, etc.

    When doing a general 3 month or 12 week cut I do carbs as follows:

    1st month = 150-175
    Carb refuel/reload every 5 days

    2nd month - 125-150
    refuel every 4 days

    3rd/last month = 100-125
    refuel every 3 days

    Carbs generally consist of good carbs with a low GI index. Only time starchy carbs are consumed is after a workout.

    Some people may want to go higher though, but I need to drop that low in that last month in order to not hit a plateau. That last month is absolutely brutal though. My high carb refuel days are absolutely glorious to me.
