ab workout video, without stressing l.back?

    ok i saw a video where the guy was showing some ab exercises that essentially don't require you to put any stress on ur lower back

    i remember one of them being specifically with a exercise ball and u keep urself up on it with ur elbows and draw squares while in the pushup position...

    anyone have a link to it?

    also remember him saying all the pro athletes use those type of exercise

    hope this isn't too much of a long shot

    I believe ceaze posted it in a thread that was deleted. The exercise you are referring to is called "stirring the pot", she's making circles with it and it works well.

    But in all seriousness, I have that basic problem he described in the beginning, with a pinched sciatic root and I have to do the bird dog for PT. But, I do one and then switch arms and legs, and keep switching back. I also have to balance a PVC pipe across my lower back, to make sure that I am maintaining stability. I highly recommend it.
