anyone have one? i've been using it for a couple of weeks and i think it's working :noes:

sidebar: they had ab straps at my gym (the ones that you hang from on a pullup bar), but i think someone stole 'em... i was thinking of getting another pair to bring with me, yay or nay?

I have it and love it. Done hundreds of crunches, leg raises, etc. NOTHING has come close the ab wheel. With that said, you have to do it right to make it work. I always keep tension on my abs and never rest my body weight above the wheel. I also go all the way down and touch my chest to the ground and really focuse on squeezing my abs on the way back up. On to of that, I do 3 sets of 40 reps and I work them 3 times a week. But yea, I LOVE the ab wheel.

I am still working up to doing it on my toes and going down until I am flat on the floor. I can only do one or two like that now :wtc:

right on... what about the ab straps?

i hear ya about doing the exercise right, too... sometimes i have to correct myself b/c if i get lazy, i don't extend all the way and end up hangin' out over the wheel. my abs are weak, i know... but hopefully exercises every other night w/ the wheel will help

I was using it for a while, didn't get much results, plus it can fuck up your rotators.

From my research I was under the impression that it's horribly bad for your back/shoulders

I hurt both my shoulders by sticking them above my head like that. I can't imagine this could be very good for them.

i read in MH, cant find it though, that its only around 90% effective as a sit-up... but abwheel works, my brother uses it a ton and has good abs
