AAC / M4a to MP3 encoding?

    What works well? These are non-drm'd files, so no cracking needs to be done.

    I've already tried winLAME, it doesn't encode AAC/M4A's. Someone suggested dbPowerAMP but it's not free.

    iTunes, but it's a bit convoluted. In the advanced settings you can set it to burn an MP3 CD instead of an audio CD. So you would have burn them to CD. If it's not a huge number of files it would be easy (and free).

    hmm, I could probably "burn" that to a daemon drive, no?
