I've been playing around with the a4 a little bit.... it just seems funky.
But I got to pop my rifle's cherry :o

It's nice with all the attachable shit on it, but is that the only special thing about it?

I don't really like the extra diameter on the handguard.

Also, I always bust my knuckles when i'm trying to take off the handguard pieces.

my a2 at boot was dead on. Shot mid 220's. My a4 is all over the place. Maybe it was becasue it was -13F and I couldn't see my target becasue of the snow

I was going to say the Knights M5 Ras that is used on M16A4's free floats the barrels but apparently it doesn't. We used these during basic and infantry school. I didn't mind having the rail system on the rifle. I have Knights RAS 2 on my personal M4 so I was already used to larger handguards. You can always add a vertical foregrip onto the bottom rail and you no longer have to worry about it.

Socrates just be more careful and try to be smarter then weapon ;)

    But i'm not, lol.

Even in boot, when we used the a2, I could almost never get the handguards back on the rifle. It's like a huge pet peeve for me.
