Can't check youtube from work, but nice dude, your strength is coming along good. Will make all sorts of flattering comments about your form and ass later on once I can see it.

never been to space or neptunes, when i see the videos from those places on youtube from the early morning with everyone all cracked out, it makes me nauseous. im done with the afterhours party scene, id rather grab sushi, a beer, maybe a drink at a lounge and be home by 1am the latest.

sorry didnt mean to hijack this, back on topic for my bro maines diesel lift.

im not sure why you guys do those standing, very dangerous IMO, id rather have lower back support and do seated militaries. puts your spine in a very weird position, its never felt good when i tried.

You develop much more pressing strength when you do them standing. The lift is significantly harder, and I think the benefits are significantly more, although you could argue the benefits are much more toward a strongman/powerlifting direction. As far as loading the low back, you just force yourself not to lean back too much. When I did my strict overhead press competition that was one of the rules, so I just started training that way and didn't use heavy enough weight that I had to lean back. I don't think they're any worse on the back than a squat or even a seated overhead press, just different. It does take a while to get used to them.

yeah it just serves me no purpose IMO in bodybuilding. for shoulders my compound movements are seated military either db's or bb, then i move on to isolation movements. finish it off with heavy seated hammer strength presses. never had a problem with my shoulders growing. but either way thats some diesel weight to be pushing like that.
