I EAS from the USMC November 16.

Now the problem I am running into involves moving my stuff to California.

I joined the Marines when I was living in Atlanta.
Well now I am getting out and will be living in California.
But the government will only pay the cost to move my stuff to Georgia.
I have to pay any extra money beyond that. Which will be a considerable amount considering the distance.
Now, I dont have that much stuff as I am single and live in the barracks.

Just looking for suggestions on cheap ways to get my shit home.

I am flying back to California, so driving is out of the question.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

Don't think there is much you can do. Why not take the ticket for Calif and change it a ticket for Atlanta? Then take the money left over and use it for a U-haul and drive the rest of the way. It would only be about 2-3 days of driving.

I was living in Alaska when I joined. Can you imagine that bill?
