And he's 3rd phase too. What a shitbag.....

I remember like a week before I graduated, my DI told the platoon "If you're still getting smoked this close to graduation, you're pretty much a piece of shit."

That same day, when he was smoking people...I hear "Johnson, get on the quarterdeck now!" all the way from the front, when I was in the back doing prac stations.

I got up and ran, then just casually walked back to the back and did more prac, and luckily he forgot, lol.

I knew I was a shitbag, but I didn't want it to be official!

i remember my first day of active duty when, as an air force 2LT, i reported to naval air station pensacola (for joint flight training), and was told to go to the quarterdeck.

i had NO FUCKING IDEA what the hell a quarterdeck was. those first few days i was more confused than jessica simpson.

I was around some Navy boys for a few weeks on a mission, it took me a solid week to realize what the hell muster meant, never really understood much they said

"Through These Portals Pass America's Finest Fighting Force"

I think that is what the front says before you go into receiving. I can't remember. :o

That kid is not 3rd phase either. *notice lack of boot bands*

Do they let your hair grow out in first and second phase in PI?

In SD, when we were shitbags, which that kid was obviously being, they would take away our boot bands and button our blouses up.

What? What branch were you in....

He was also doing mountain climbers....

They constantly switch back and forth from different exercises....the picture was just taking after the DI told him to push.

What's your problem? I just didn't see the guy bein' "thrashed" by doin' some PT. No need to get crazy.

Again, why is that? I'm an active duty Coast Guard member. So tell my why I shouldn't be posting and browsing in this section of OT?

So I have to say what service I'm in each time I post so that everyone knows that I'm an actual military member in order to not be asked "who the fuck" I am in a thread I post in. :coolugh:

You obviously didn't realize that doing pushups is only part of getting thrashed.

Since i've always heard the Coast Guard has the 2nd hardest boot camp to the Marines', I figured you would know what being thrashed is like (for 8 weeks...).

Eeeek --- that would have freaked me out.

That was the only time (other than the first night, I was a momma's boy :mamoru:) that I cried in boot camp. I lost it on the crucible and punched a recruit who was giving me a hard time, and the DI's were immediately in my face saying they were going to drop me. My senior was being slick and was telling the j-belt "inventory his gear tonight". I was freaking out.

It wouldn't have been so bad except this all happend while we were on the med evac course (the one where you carry another recruit around on the stretcher up on your shoulders) and I let go of my side to punch the guy, and the wounded guy fell off and landed on the ground :mamoru:.

It's what I've heard too. Ours isn't all that bad physically (if you come to BC prepared), but it's a lot of academics thrown into the mix.
