How long after you got your actual FFL in the mail for the Dept of the Treasury, did you get your "new applicant package" from the ATF? They say 7-10 days, but . . .

Also if I did fall through the cracks is there anything really useful in the package that I should bother getting them to send me one?

I got mine roughly the same time, but that was a few years ago.

The most important things in the pack are the book of all the different states laws and the federal laws, as well as a "bound book", which is just a card to log your firearms. You can make one yourself no problem.

I just received a CD-ROM today, the 28th edition State Laws and Published Ordinances is now being distributed via CD-ROM.

I got my CD a few weeks ago to. They used to send the paper version, it was like getting a phone book in the mail.
