Lets you control the fan speed to get lower temperatures. If you're worried about heat, this thing works. In 10 mins, my CPU temp dropped from 70C to 50C idle! Thats a huge, noticable difference!

I recommend this to all Mactel Laptop owners. :bigthumb:

The higher, the cooler, but then it's louder and gets worse battery life. MY roommates computer is much louder, and I rarely have my computer on battery, so I have both fans on max. Find which works best for you.

While converting movies, my MBP only got to 60C! Normally, I would be pushing 80C without the fans on max :coold: THis program rocks! THe hand rests are cool to the touch!

I got to 63C with both cores at 100% with fans on max.
