how much of that is in the seasoning vs the actual noodle?
my guess would be all.
it used to be cool at my elementary school to eat ramen raw... basically take a plastic bag, crush up the raw noodles, put in the flavoring and shake it up.... god that's gross just thinking about it
Back in my unhealthy days, I would eat it with a scoop of sour cream.. some good shit.
%dv is rarely useful
I've also had a pretty high sodium intake my whole life and my blood pressure is great (then again I'm only 19)
well... thats not the point.
What I think Maine is talking about is that everyone is different and thus have different need in terms of their nutritional intake.
As for the sodium, carbs usually impact how much water I retain more than sodium anyway...
haha we used to do that all the time too
what the fuck were we thinking
I still do that
Couldn't be any worse than eating Shake N' Bake coating mix out of the packet
I did not do this, although a family member did
yeah, if/when i eat ramen, i pretty much just throw out the seasoning packet and drain most of the water after it's done cooking... add pepper and hot sauce ftw
The bottom line is that high sodium in your diet is not good for you, and it also makes you retain more water and look thicker than you might otherwise. I dont like how this forum really doesnt think anything of a high sodium intake.
