are they formulated differently? for example, are car leather conditioners geared toward protection against sun and sofa leather conditioners against wear? :dunno:

also, what brand do you guys recommend?

I'm sure it would work fine. The product list has a few leather conditioners to chose from.

  3. I've been using car leather conditioner on my Italian leather sofa for 2 years, no bad side affects.

I will say this though, the car leather conditioner is probably a little greasier and slippery then what you would normally use on your couch.

Lexol products were made for all leather/vinyl applications. They work well on my sofa. I recently got Zaino Leather in a bottle, and tried it too. Smells like a leather showroom in my family room!:bigthumb:
