I just got my SC-29 TTL cord for my strobes, and I was taking a couple of pictures of my oldest son on the trampoline, and inside... Time to take up some Strobist assignments.

Is that a SB800? You can trigger that using your D50 remotely if you set your flash to SU-4 mode and set your onboard flash to Manual. I usually take mine to manual 1/16 then block it using a "flash blocker" that I made out of cardboard. :mamoru:

Yeah sometimes this server takes a big fat dump. I hate shared hosting. :hs:

I have the SB600 and SB800. For the trampoline pictures, I had the SB800 in SU-4 mode with 1/4 power camera right, and the SB600 to camera left on my tripod, -1 ev. Ethan didn't want to play around that much with me taking pictures, and it started to rain, so it killed any other pictures to get the "right" amount of light while he was jumping. I just picked up the TTL cord today, and I think soon I will get those cheap wireless "ebay" triggers so I don't have to use the TTL Cord all the time. I can't wait to get a D200 later in the year so I can use it to trigger both flashes with the flash commander. One for fill and the others for hair, and highlights, etc. I also got 3 packs of gel samples from a lighting store, and they are the perfect fit for flash heads, now I have just about every color in the rainbow, for some more creative light. :x:

For the record, I was just being sarcastic when the pics weren't loading. :hs:

I know, the server does decide it doesn't want to serve pages up...I don't know what is killing the bandwith...I just host an uploader and a few "galleries" on that site anyways, nothing critical. :hs:
