Eyes look a bit off? Good lighting though; I like the mood.

Set-up? I like the dark mood. I would only critique that the white hot-spot on his shoulder keeps distracting me away from his face. Maybe you can burn it a little?

tried different things, this is the best the eyes came out w/ out him looking higher. :hs:

    Might try it again tomorrow.

    SB900 @ 200mm right above and slightly to the right. Fairly lit room, camera @ 1/250th and f/16, w/ ISO 100. :o

I saw the thumbnail of that picture on Flickr and thought it was one of you. You two definitely look alike.

when Im going for that dark and moody lighting I usually try to kill ambient with the shutter rather than the aperture. I took this one at 1/2000 @f9, sb900 in a 36" soft box inches from my face, triggered with cls.

this one was [email protected], also triggered with cls sb900 with the nikon diffuser

both of these were taken in the day time in well lit rooms.
