serioulsy though, I'll start listening to what the GOA says when they start having the same impact that the NRA does.
honestly lately i've seen the NRA do stuff more to keep their survival then to actually help gun owners.
well, I know at the very least they have been helping out alot in CA. I know atleast a rule-making hearing about ARs/AKs and the like, the NRA sent a delegation to speak, but the GOA couldn't be bothered to walk down the street from their offices to even show the flag
I don't think I'm actually the biggest fan of either organization. JPFO seems like the ideologically best organization at least.
the question though is which is the most effective is protecting your rights. All the ideology in the world doesn't stop a single bill.
The NRA seems to have become more interested in compromise and its survival recently.
Besides no organization is going to rival the NRA unless people get over I'll join on when it is bigger mindset and decide to help make it bigger.
the problem is the the GOA also doesn't appeal to me based on the way they operate internally...
