A rough rundown from what I remember:

    eVGA 7800 GT
    AMD64 3700+ 2.2ghz
    2 x 1gb of Corsair ram
    eVGA motherboard
    600w Corsair power supply
giant black aluminum case, looks cool I guess? lol
    and a dvd burner.

also comes with a 20" widescreen monitor as well.

Normally I would just start comparing to some websites to see what they offer, but these parts are 3+ years old now, so they don't sell them, therefore I can't find prices.

If this was yours, how much would you sell it for? He said I could take it for 500, but I have NO idea how to value this thing lol. Anyone want to attempt to help me out a bit here? :hs: You think this is a fair price?

    Thanks fellas

This is based off of a few quick searches and maybe one or two guesses. :hsugh:

    eVGA 7800 GT ($45)
    AMD64 3700+ 2.2ghz ($60)
    2 x 1gb of Corsair ram ($40)
    eVGA motherboard ($50)
    600w Corsair power supply ($50)
giant black aluminum case, looks cool I guess? lol ($50)
    and a dvd burner. ($20)

also comes with a 20" widescreen monitor as well. ($50)

    $365 at the very most.

Any more and you could darn near buy a refurb dell with much better specs.

    Offer him $300.

www.pricewatch.com is how I figure values. Most of the time they have cards that go way back etc.

now that I read your post.......... $500 ?

ask if that includes the lube or if you have to supply your own, because he's looking to give you a pretty good fucking right in the ass.

    That's $250 tops.

I say 200 or save your money and spend a couple hundred more and get something much better.
