325 isn't all that impressive. I used to live with a guy who was a total fatty, and he got 335 at his strongest, going to the gym like two or 3 times a week. I guess I'm desensetized to it because he was naturally strong as hell.

Oh man, at the last apartment gym I went to, there was big fat black dude that used to come in. He put 355 on the smith machine and was like "hey man, spot me. I've never done this much before and I just want a spot." Big mother fucker repped it 5 times.

Doesn't that seem off to you though? I use more than 20's and I'm a skinny little nothing. How could they acctually be doing good using 20's?

Maybe he uses 5s on chest days to do light shoulder work. Who knows, maybe he uses 50s on his shoulder days :eek3:

I don't judge BBers and PLers by what they can lift, and you shouldn't either.

You should be concerned with their entire routine, from beginning to end, because a lot of the heavy and light weight sets are there for a reason.

    They're synergists.

It sounds like you might be critical of other people watching you while you lift and worrying that you might look like a weakling.

    Don't be. :)
