I am overweight, BUT I used to be morbidly obese, now I'm just obese ;)

    Anyway, onto the good stuff.

I tried some new powders, Nectar (the green one) and just whey (the chocolate).

with a spoon they are gross, with a shaker cup both are extremely not bad, almost to "good"

also i'm reading g-force by gunnar peterson, although it isn't rocket science, he is a good fitness writer it seems like, and is kind of like a "for dummies" book that is easy to read.

I have 67 pounds to lose to reach my final goal, we'll see how it goes :o

shout out to mike mcdermott, who makes me feel bad about not eating/working out right everytime i see him, the bastard

Congrats on your success so far - gastric bypasses aren't just a simple procedure followed by an easy recovery and no thought weight loss, as some people tend to view it. I see and talk to people like yourself frequently at the hospital where I work, so I know some of the things that make the process especially taxing.

:) yeah, the problem is too many people (including the patients) think "okay, i got the surgery, i'm fixed!" being overweight isn't just physical, it is very very mental and the process hasn't been easy by any means

i don't expect most people to understand, and that isn't a bad thing, but if you haven't been overweight, or severely overweight, or mobidlly obese, you will never know what it is like

the same way that I don't understand a 110 pound guy being unhappy with being skinny, ya know?

For sure.. humans aren't usually capable of understanding the deeper levels of feeling or being uncomfortable in someone elses skin. Keep goin!

Hey, I don't know you, but I've read this thread! It's great to hear that you have done wll thus far. About hiting the wall, you are going to make it man! Believe that shit. What you have done in losing 100lbs and taking things in your own hands is enough to inspire others, use that as insperation for yourself.

This is what you would call good news, keep up the hard work! You get my best wishes bro.
