Dude, very nice. I'm usually pretty reserved about giving out props for photography, but you get mine.

    What are you shooting with?

I absolutely love that shot. If you could send me a full res shot with no Speed Arena tag, I would be appreciative. :bigthumb:

    Thanks for the comments.

I have full access as this is my full time job and I work for teams, drivers and sponsors within the series and for the SA website. However, many of those shots could also be attained from the spectator areas at Sebring, as most places have low fencing and good access. In this series 2,3,4,6 and 10 could have all been done from behind the fences when using similar gear.

Sorry, I dont give out high res images, its my livlihood and I cant have them floating around out there for free, though I do appreciate you desire to have it.

Currently I use Canon MkII N bodies and several canon L lenses ranging from 24mm to 500mm.

Explain how that would make them better please.

How tight do you want the shots?

However, tight is not always the right answer. I do my share of tight shots when possible, however, I prefer to see some area around the cars. It gives you more a feeling of speed and the atmosphere of the event. Having something to give a feel for the environment the car is in keeps it from being an "any track USA" shot. It gives a feel for where the car is at. It gives a background that can be blurred for the sense of speed. It gives you space around the car to get a feel for time of day, track layout, crowd at the race, or any number of other feelings which would be lost if it was all car. Hell, why go to a race to shoot a shot like that, you can do it anywhere and no one would be able to tell the difference.

I would absolutely love it if you can explain to me how it would make these better by shooting tighter. Honestly, I dont even see how you could begin to say that. None of these photos would have benefitted from being tighter.

Again, you show your lack of photographic knowledge by a statement such as that. Its not always about getting in as tight as you can. Which in some cases isnt even possible. Some shots you simply cannot get closer without cropping the final image. Full access does not mean you can go anywhere you want, there are still boundaries for safety and many are not right next to the track. I could always crop some of these a bit, but I dont think that many warrant it.

Please, explain your point, show me know you know what you are talking about. I ask for comments and critique and honestly dont mind it, even when negative. However, to be taken seriously you need to back it up with something. Otherwise it means nothing and helps no one.
