A few pics of the R6 plus my first taste of SAND... ROFL

So today was nice in BOSTON 45 degrees, you can call that nice if you want. so I went to warm up the bike today. since that weather was nice the temptations was killing me, so me knowing it's still bad out, I decided to take it for a spin. the bike is garaged on a dead end street, so no cars around. I go up and down the street with no problem, so I decided to hit the gas a little not to hard at all, doing 15 mph I gave it a little gas then the bike got a little too feisty and the rear end fish tail like a fucking shark ( twice) I recovered the bike quick, so there was no problem. I was like WOW.... I notice a lot of sand on the road that I couldn't see.

you can see the rear tire was scrapped pretty hard on the first picture.

so I decided not to ride until all the fucking streets are flawlessly clean. fuck that. I hate sand, damn it, I'll just wait till may. :wtc:

    Nice bike man,
Roads are still pretty bad in northeast. It was very nice the whole week till yesterday and now we got 3 inches of snow of the ground SUX. Now they got salt all over the roads again so ya gotta be really careful around those corners.

:eek4: you guys have sand on all your roads? That sucks.

I took the RC down a road that had just had all the potholes fixed. It was a tarmac road so they use some tar/gravel type mixture and throw sand on top. Well the road was covered with so much sand that it looked normal.

I didnt realise i was on sand untill i got on it, and the bike just revved up like it was in neutral. It didnt take long for me to realise the rear wheel was jsut spinning. I was going around 40mph. :eek3: The ass was very puckered. :o

I was coming through a canyon road, very slow section. Just putting along. It was about a week & a half after a rain storm. Every other part of the road was clean except this part.

Gravel was spread across all 2 lanes. Fortunate for me it was a straight section of the road. So I point the bike straight and go straight across.

The whole bike kinda drifted to the left while pointed completely straight. I started a good 2-3 feet in my lane and ended up 4 feet in the oncoming lane. :noes: Good thing there wasn't a car coming the other way, just a group of bicyclists. :o

:werd: It sucks riding with gear on in the heat. At least we get perfect riding temps in fall and spring.

Thanks, but I'll stick with 11 months annually of riding weather. And what the hell is that white stuff? You're calling it "snow"? What is it?
