And a panorama I made of another hairpin turn
you really do need to get a neutral density filter for the sunny days. the grass/ground is overexposed.
I know. I also could have tinkered with the exposure settings in PS, but they LOOKED OK in my PS. Turns out I never set the Adobe gamma after I reformatted.
exif says Nikon D50.
I guess until you get some ND filters, you can use the exposure compensation on the camera to probably EV +1/2 (not sure what EV steps the D50 is) so that the shots aren't as overexposed.
Ah thanks for the tip!
18-55 Kit Lens w/ Circ Pol.
Tamron 75-300 Zoom lens
Slik U8000 tripod.
Are the ones of the dock with the Kit Lens?
The boardwalk? Some are taken with the kit lens, and a couple with the Tamron.
I really like the clairty and DOF in this one, I don't know why, but it stood out more than the others, What lens was this with?
70mm, that's with the zoom lens.
I like the last one the best.
Mark, you need an ND filter man! Also, it's nice to see you progressing. Your exposures might still be a touch off here and there, but your composition is improving for sure!
How's the second part of the course going?
Thanks! I know I need a ND filter badly lol.
Course is going great -- field trip on sunday to margaree hbr.
