feel free to laugh, critique and point out the mistakes I made, I still think I've improved a lot thanks to the EDUs and advice given here

One of my duties yesterday was to catch on images the whole show, we as a company helping runners improve their times and the runners giving us their input about the shoes, training lessons and other stuff...

Pic 1: Badly focused, I should have used the Av mode instead of portrait

Pic 2: I was standing in the wrong spot, sunlight washed the subjects, how do you avoid this when taking pics early in the morning? :hs:

Pic 3: Not bad at all, maybe I needed a shorter exposure / faster shutter speed to avoid the blurry hand movement

Pic 4: Just so you laugh :o

    Pic 5: Good enough? :dunno:

Pic 6: I like this one, I captured the feelings of the moment maybe I needed to center the subjects better but I still like it

Pic 7: Subject properly framed, good ammount of light...I think :o

Pic 8: Faster shutter speed helped this one to come out nicely, other than the subject at the right who is too white I think this one came out good :o

Pic 9: I like this one too

    Advice? :)

center or spot weighted metering to deal with the harsh light/shadows

ok, it has center, spot and evaluative...it looks like I should use either spot or evaluative for those situations...which one is better?
