    i love these pics! #3 is my favorite. I just got a d70 and am really tryign to learn manual settings so I'm a bit curious as to how you did that. Did you do any touchups in photoshop? Very very awesome pics!

    With a better sunrise, #1 would be very nice indeed. Or, the same shot in B&W as a major thunderhead rolls in could be very moody.

    Thanks for the compliments :bigthumb:

    Only touchup is a bit of saturation and levels in PS. All shot RAW with my 20d

    First one was a 191 sec. exposure. I agree the sunrise was rather meh that morning.

    #3 is screaming for HDR, thats my next thing to learn. Wish I would've bracketed that shot :hs:
    Guess I could always adjust the exp compensation since its raw :dunno:

    still learning everything...too much to think about at once. exposure, aperture, shutter speed, iso, composistion :o :o :o

    yeah, i'm trying not to buy it. I need the 70-200L worse right now :hs:
