Just spent a day at Murfreesboro, Tennessee's indoor range, On Target.

My Uncle, my Father, my Grandfather, my Sister's BF, and my roommate from college. We brought 2 AK-47s, an AR-15, a Swedish Mauser, Sig 229, .44 Magnum, .38, and a glock 30.

All the prices there were great and we got to shoot for a long as we wanted.

I snapped a few pics of the guns.

I would definitely suggest if you are in the area, to check out the range.

The only indoor range around here doesn't allow assault rifles.

I did get a chance to hold the new 6.8, I just would never be able to afford ammo to shoot it.

    Yes

Many are not open Sunday, only have afternoon hours, or are the DNR ones out in the middle of BFE.

Of course, going to an outdoor range when your temps are in the mid-90s and the heat index well above 100 sort of takes away from the fun, particularly down here where the humidity is high.

i know, it sucks. my last day at the range was temped like that. all i shot was about 150 .22's and gave in b/c it was so hot. im holding off on going back to the range until temps fall below 87

the cool thing about the range i go to is its in the middle of nowhere and not monitored b/c its an old police range. i've seen used tv's, washing machines, and computers out there. people take their trash out there to shoot it and generally clean it up afterwards.

Went to the outdoor range in IL while I'm home, it was horrible outside and I shot like shit. There was an NRA pistol instructor there so I got a free hour long lesson, but I was dripping sweat afterwards.

I'll be waiting until its back in the 70's to go again. I only have a pistol at the moment anyways so it's not a big deal to me if I just go to the indoor range for now.

well, my range has a rule about not shooting anything but paper targets; however, whenever i go i'm usually the only one.

i'd also clean up whatever bits of the phone i could find
