first pic: what exactly causes the big yellow thing in the bottom right corner? Dirty lens maybe? Anyway I can avoid it? :dunno:

second pic: good focus, or should it be in a different place? I took alot but never felt like I got it right...

I just picked this camera up and I'm pretty happy with it so far :wavey:

I'm no pro but I'll put in my $.02

First pic, composition wise it seems plain but good focus. The yellow spot seems to be a lens flare which would be caused if there was sunlight going directly into the lens...that or there might be something on the lens (e.g. dust, dirt, fingerprint or something)

Second pic could use a little better focus control and or lighting. The thing growing off of the limb doesn't seem bright enough to really give a cool effect. It also seems like the focal point was off just a little but it could be the lighting. Cool non the less though.
