Just picked up a couple of Sigma lenses and wanted to show that the quality isn't too bad.

These are NOT great pics just a quick snap to see what the lense can do but take a look:

    10-20mm f 4-5.6 Sigma lens for Nikon

Sigma 70-300MMD 4-5.6 Apo DG for Nikon

I'm pretty happy with them for beginner's lenses. Can't wait to try out the wide-angle in Banff later this week. :x:

because its an extremely wide lens..once that will bring you plenty of challenges once you dont want stuff to be in the pictures..however it will also allow you some real cool creative ideas..

Like for example, I did this one with a 12-24

I had to darken most of the floor cause it had this huge tv that was distracting me to hell and back

    I love this picture.

I REALLY am considering selling my 18-200 VR now and just getting a 12-24 and 28-75. Its a pretty good range and most of the photography I've been doing lately is landscapes and people/portraits. Once again, GREAT picture! Love the comp/framing.

Wow, that's a really nice picture.
I'm sure like with anything new I'll make some mistakes with it and hopefully learn from them. I really wanted it for my trip so I can take some landscapes.
We'll see how they turn out.

Any other interesting wide-angle photos you can share with us?

That's what my plan of action is myself. All I need for what I do is a 12-24, 28-75, and my 70-200 VR.

    i have the 12-24 and the 70-200 VR!:x:

i really really really love this combo. i took these along with my 50 f1.4, and kit lens and the 12-24 and 70-200 was the only two lenses i used. love them to death.

i love wide angle lens, its actually even good for sports photography such as skating, biking.....things that you have a limited amount of space

  9. good job using a 12-24 and still cutting that chick's feet off... :hsugh:

thanks, yeah with that lens you're gonna be having fun!

I don't really do much landscapes, but most of these in this section of my webpage were using that lens
