GUN A bunch of pics from Friday Night Rifle League

Discussion in 'On Topic' started by Market Garden, Jun 27, 2009.

  1. Laurel tagged along to tonight's rifle league match to take some pics. She managed to get a few good ones of myself and Chip On Shoulder. I actually ended up winning tonight! :big grin:

oh and cool LaRue hat, hero

  4. Many people at rifle league wear LaRue hats. I just do it to fit in.

it's okay - I have two LaRue hats that I had to retire because they make my forehead break out, and broke the buckle on one...replaced it with a mini fastex but it was too much like my Diz hat which I don't like and it hurt my head

I wear any one of the multitude of Cecil hats I have (the sage colored ones with all the coolest gear logos on them...somehow all the little buddy companies got together and got them...Surefire, Wilcox, Aimpoint, Eagle, etc etc, the Wilcox one has an SF group flash on the back so I try to avoid that one)

or I wear my buddy's gear company hat

but yes, hats are crucial, they the linchpin of your outfit

bet that floor does a number on mags too

  19. :hs: I've lost 11 pounds in the last few weeks. That pic makes it look worse than it is.

  20. It's not too bad when you're the one shooting. That said, you definitely know when you've fired an AR with a brake right next to a concrete wall.

:mamoru: giving you shit. I've been lifting every other morning and lost 10 in the past week and a half. :h5:

keep it up though. the older you get, the harder it is to work off.

and wtf Chip On Shoulder, Mr. Metrosexual

One of the indoor ranges around here looks like that place, but they don't do rifle inside. I can't imagine how the sound would reverberate

The ladies. They respond to the scent of burnt gunpowder.

  25. Not really. It's more IPSC style rules, but it's not sanctioned by anyone. It's just real informal and people just show up to have fun.
