...with a Railgrabber mount! I rock! I'll be here later in the week.

This Aimpoint is going to go on my A.R.M.S. claw mount that I have for a H&K rifle. The only problem is, I don't have the rifle yet. I have the mount (a steal at $150), I'll soon have the scope, but no rifle. I NEED to get a damned H&K rifle...

    Cheaper doesn't make it better.

My Dad always told me, you get what you pay for

The only thing I would rely on other than my Aimpoint is my BUIS

Ditto that. I don't care for the EoTech one bit. It looks cheaply made, it's bulky, and the construction is overall a piss-poor design (IMHO). This is my 2nd Aimpoint and I think I will stick with them...

Let me rephrase that.. Its cheaper but still not cheap. Its cheaper when you factor in the cost of buying the Aimpoint mounts. Its nowhere more bulky then the aimpoint. The AA battery version is longer. While open to argument a 1MOA dot is gonna give you better opportunity to be more accurate at longer ranges vs the 4MOA dot on the Aimpoint. While Special Forces use a variety of Optics, gadgets etc.. there are many using EoTechs as well which I think is some testement that they are good optics and they are tough. I have a friend with an Aimpoint. He accidently dropped it from a few feet onto the ground the knob on it broke off. EoTech doesn't have any knobs and its armored around the screen. It can take the abuse like most Aimpoints as well.

Aimpoint has more than one dot option, at least it did not too long ago. I bought 30 for resale a while back and got 3MOA, 7MOA, and 10MOA. Right now, my M4 has a 10MOA on top of it.
