They've got plans for 40S&W and .357Sig models as well. The manufacturer even stated that 10mm will fit in their mags. :noes:

What manufacturer? 10mm has always had issues sourcing mags.

Dunno. I think they're making their own 40cal mags and just said that 10mm would fit.

They'll even do engraving under or over the anodizing for complete NFA friendliness. It's becoming more and more tempting, especially since the MSAR MCS hasn't been produced in well over a year past the target date.

    I'm impressed......

I would love to have a shorty 9mm and 10mm AR.

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like it. I already have a shorty 9mm though so I'm kind of biased.

That is cool. I may get one of those and sbr it for my current 9mm and then take out the mag block of my current one and since its sbr'd make a .223 sbr out of it.

I was gonna sbr one of my other lowers for a .223 build, but if these work, I'll just sbr this and use the other.

That's pretty much what I'm thinking. Those 9mm lowers are about 300. I figure I can get atleast $150 for the unused magblock so it's not too big of a hit. :o

i think the only 'beef' is you can't use 5.56 any more

but if you have multiple rigs, who cares

CMMG has had a 9mm-specific lower out for several months now. Looks like a really nice setup.

Indeed. And they are much cheaper than the $300 asking price on these new ones.

Also still uses the large mag well. The other one has a smaller well so that it looks more proper with the smaller mags installed.

That CMMG one looks like they just run a different CNC program for the magwell on a standard AR lower. Better than a magblock but not as elegant as the one I posted.

The one I linked is a low shelf that uses a spacer, IIRC.
