I still need to tighten everything down and adjust the ejector, but it's *almost* ready to shoot. Hopefully Magpul will start shipping the MBUS soon so I can throw sights on it. Next up will be a C-More sight and a suppressor.

    DPMS Lower
    RRA 9mm Upper
    5" TROS 3-lug barrel
    3-lug flash hider
    Magpul CTR Stock
    Magpul MIAD grip kit
    Hahn Dedicated Magwell Adapter
    Yankee Hill Free Float Forearm

Hmm, what could be in this man purse?

No kidding. I really like the 5" look with a suppressor, but I'll have to look at it as is for the next few months until I can get one. The flash hider helps a little :hs:

Does your flash hider move up and down on your barrel?

When I sighted my gun in I got all my groups exactly in the center. When I put the the flashider on all my shots started hitting to the left and down a lot.

nice. i think i'm going to start with a 16" RRA 9mm upper so i have something to shoot while my paperwork goes through for a 5". it looks better than i though it would with a 5" barrel

5" is a good length foir 9mm ARs. I might add that you have built a nice one too.

If you're still looking for a BCG, Garrison Mfg. sells theirs on Gunbroker for $175 - that's where I got mine.

 Damn, and I just let my sub expire.

Yeah, and I think it looks even better in person than in the pics. Different perspective and all that, I guess.

    Thanks!

Good looking out:cool: Is it ramped? i've got a 9mm hammer to use if I don't get a ramped bolt. But I think I'd rather have one ramped and use the standard hammer.:o

Unfortunately, no. I'm going to send mine out to Adco to have it ramped, but I also have a 9mm hammer that I'll be using until then. Also, the carrier key is not staked, but I'm not sure if that is as much of a concern in a blowback design - maybe it is, in which case I'll get mine properly staked.

I wouldnt think the carrier key being staked is as important on a blowback as it is a gas gun. But it's still something I would do because it is a moving part.

Couldn't hurt either way, right? I was looking at that MOACKS tool to do it - they have a pocket version that's about $70 I think.

The bolt catch roll pin holds it in place.

It means stripping part of the lower to get the block out.
