I've recently bought a .45 pistol for carrying purposes (I chose the XD over the Glock 21 :o - Forgive me glock crew). Anyways Ive got some money to spend and I'm looking to buy a quality 9mm. The choices:

HK USP Compact (Price is :ugh: )
    Sig Sauer
Glock 17 (Fits my hands better than the 21 obviously)
    Walther P99

Give me some [biased] suggestions :hsd:

well, i've shot everything you listed besides the Walther, and i'd say anything you're comfortable with, get. take some time to shoot them and see how they feel.

having said that, i have a USP9 fullsize, and i absolutely love it. only complaint i have about it is that the grips feel like ass, but a hogue slip on grip solves that and makes it extremely comfortable.

Ok well I have the G17 I like it, high cap mags for it are pretty cheap never had a problem with it. I also have a Walther P99 mine is .40 though, I like it alot I prefer it over any of the other .40 guns I've shot feels perfect in my hand, I've never shot the 9mm one, but lately I've been thinking of picking up a compact 9mm version. I've shot 9mm Sig's there not to bad dont think I'de trade my glock for one though, I like the USP alot but I'de only buy one in .45

The glock 21 didnt fit my hands to well so i figured the full size USP was :ugh:

Was i wrong? Im not regretting my XD at all though, its perfect for me.

They're all top notch pistols, you can't go wrong with any of them all it really needs to be based on how it fits your hand, what trigger you like, etc.

Personally I think the USP is overpriced, and I don't like the glock trigger. I'd get a sig or p99, or like me, one of each :big grin:

the full size USP is not very big at all. about as big as a glock 17 i'd say. I was expecting a bigger gun, and when i got it i was surprised. it fits me perfectly though, and i can't imagine how small a compact must be

If the 9 is going to be a plinker and not a carry gun then I like BHP's.

I'd probably go with a 228 with those choices.

There is no CZ on that list.

    Sig
    HK
    Walther
    Glock

Those would be my choices in that order although the Walther is the most comfortable gun I've ever fired.

go with the glock. if you already have a carry gun, you should buy a used leo glock. they are cheap and reliable

Nope, TDA, DAO, or partial cocked glock style (QA).

whynot an XD...if u considered the glock and went with an XD in 45, i'm guessing the ergonomics are better fitted for u..why not try an xd in 9mm..

A used Cougar 8000 would be a much better choice and about the same price as a NIB 92FS

Taurus Millenium (which is the full-size one). Give it a go, see how you like it.

Seems many people forget about Taurus guns..
