ammoman.com has Speer Lawman 124gr 9mm on "sale" for $189/1000 rounds or $109/500 rounds

I have no idea why you'd pay extra for the heavier fmj practice rounds than 115 gr wwb from walmart, or cci blazer from natchezss.com

I've fired a few hundred rounds of it, shoots about the same as WWB far as I can tell.

I'm not, I made the thread to inquire about if the price is good, and to see how it compares to WWB.

From what I understand Lawman is on par with WWB. With the latest Walmart price increase, you'd probably com out nearly even depending on the state sales tax.

As far was the bullet weight goes... I know a lot of people who shoot 9mm Minor in USPSA/IPSC feel that in general the heavier / lower velocity loads have a little less perceived recoil than the lighter / higher velocity rounds, even though the "power factor" usually calcs out a littel higher on the heavier loads. There is a 147gr Lawman loading that I've been trying to find locally so I can function test it. All I can find locally though is the 115gr loading.

I'm not especially a fan of WWB because of having to get a walmart employee, waiting, its filthy..... Going price for a 1k rounds of cci blazer from natchez shipped to my house is $137.80 shipped.

:wtf: shipping for me is $28 bucks

edit: so the total for 1000 rounds of cci blazer shipped is $166.82. I dont think you read the "Order total" line, but instead the "subtotal items" line

hehe my bad, I pasted the wrong line, $155.02 for me. Either way I'd save the $20 if I were you.
