Anything is possible. A Camry is an unusual starting point, but the finished product is what matters. Hell, I supercharged a Tempo; nothing fancy, but it's a fun little shitbox. :dunno:

Ebay is a good start, and maybe search for some model-specific forums.

    Good luck.

Hey Thanks for the advise I try ebay everyday but it always the same old stuff. I tried the model forums and some say that it will have to be custom. Anyways here is a link to the car pics on cardomain. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2428163

dios mio....gonna turn it into a mojomobile....

Don't modify that car...just put money into keeping it running and save up for a car that you will modify.

You can't make that car fast, and it will never be a race car.

If you must do the following:

    1) HIDS
    2) Tint windows
    3) Sound System

    THEN LEAVE IT ALONE!!!

what he said. If you really find that you need to modify a car, then get an old 510 or something similar to work on

i have a camry a 2000...pretty much the same except for different front/rear lights.

    don't mod it.....

you're not going to get much for your money!

unless you supercharge it....even then its a camry!

only things i did to mine was tint and sound system.

the car itself is reliable as hell and is my daily driver...i just hit 200k miles on it and it still runs great!

You really shouldnt put HID's in a halogen housing, especially without a projector lense. You are going to piss off some other drivers on the road.

Word. Like the big lifted trucks that love to throw some obnoxious 8k HID's in their headlights and fog lights, then tail gate you on the freeway at 5am on your way to work, ligthing up the entire cabin of your car like the hand of god.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Die in a fucking off road rock scaling fire bro'sef.

OK well I have the HIDs But in the original housing, which looks like that up there^^^.

For Sound system what is it that you suggest? Sony xplod? Alpine? etc.?

BTW had no choice picking the car, it was a fast transaction, paid for in cash. And didnt shop around.

Don't mod that car, or you'll end up full of regret and embarrassment.

    I beg to differ:

That's pretty quick in my book...and IMO most cars (ESPECIALLY a camry) need help with the suspension...stiffening up the chassis does worlds for handling, stability, and ride quality.

If you can't afford to buy a nice car, there's nothing wrong with trying to make yours better.

the cost to make a camry into that, you might as well buy a newer, faster car. and im sure the cost to maintain a boosted automatic camry is exciting

I feel the same way, but you can't say it CAN'T be done....

I would just do a few small things to make the car look and perform a bit better. The main thing a camry needs is suspension work and improving the chassis rigidity...

Seriously, I have a '97 Camry and it is what it is. I won't sink a dime into modding it...that's what the other car is for. If it was my only car, I'd definitely take the money I would dump into it and start saving for something that can actually be modded.
