Estoril Blue, 112,000 miles, still strong, still in love with it. :)

Not particularly powerful, but still a lot of fun. The car's acceleration is substantially augmented by the (too) short 3.64 final drive. There has been some contention that the dyno is reading low due to the ECU not having any time to adapt, and some think I would benefit from updated software now that the car is catless and has a new intake manifold that is a lot freer-flowing, but whatever. It put down what it put down, and I am happy with it. I would like to add the cam kit, which would supposedly add another 45-50 whp, but I had the car in last month for some unexpected repair - basically a whole rebuild at the front of the engine as the timing chain fragmented and took fucking everything out - so mod money went to keeping it on the road for 05.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the positive feedback. :)

Says the guy with the 100348563 whp Skyline - Bro, those are HREs. I wanted to keep them under 50 lbs a piece and retain some semblance of the "power" of my car....so it was 17s or nothing.

    :big grin:

Gotta love the smoothness of the power delivery in a BMW I6. Sharp looking M3.

That's dropped amazingly well. One of my very few complaints is that there aren't any good interior shots. Dove Grey pairs well with the exterior and makes those vaders look clean, you gotta give a look on the inside. In mine I had an indash navigation system put in replacing the computer (new technology rocks). Makes any M3 interior that much nicer. I love those rims, but 19s would make all the difference in the world and nearly give perfect tuck. But man....overall, mad props.

All those other things I mentioned aren't really cost effective, but you can get some silver coated amber lighted corner bulbs for like $15 and would eliminate that dreaded "egg yolk" symptom. Couldn't see the clear tails but they make them for them as well. You will like the result as much as when you puchased your ellipsoids.
