I recently was given full ownership of my Dad's 1997 Toyota Avalon XLS (Fully Loaded). The car currently has about 91,000 miles on it, and things are (not suprisingly) starting to fall apart. The one thing that pisses me off the most is that the driver's door cannot be locked with the remote (all of the other doors still work fine in that regard). Is this going to be cheap to repair? What is wrong with it?

Does the manual lock button on the driver's door still work? Can't think of anything besides that...

The manual does, the electronic does not.
