the driverside door speaker sounds like it has been blown, it emits an annoying loud buzzing/vibrating sound whenever there is some bass. How much/how hard would it be to replace the speaker? I have no clue about anything audio or car audio, any help, suggestions would be appreciated!

It could be something is hitting it. Either way, you would have to take off your door panel to get to the speaker. You can probably check some camaro forums to get directions to remove the door panel. Speakers are not very hard to replace. If you get a speaker plug from circuit city, you plug that plug into your new speaker and the plug on the door and you dont need to cut any wires.

You shouldn't have to remove the door panel. The grill should pop right off and there should be a few screws attaching the speaker to the door. On the back of the speaker, there should be a clip holding the wires to the speaker. If you are going to replace the factory speaker with an aftermarket speaker, you may have to either cut off that clip and install terminals, or use an adapter harness like Crutchfield sells. If you do cut off the clip, pay attention to which wire is + and which wire is -. They may not be marked so you may have to do some internet research. I'm sure there has to be a Camaro forum out there somewhere that could help you.

WRONG ANSWER. The doors on 4th gen f-bodies have to come off to access the speakers. Is it a Bose system or std. delco? If Bose it will be a headache, if Delco, no problem. Remember, unless you are replacing it with another factory speaker it is best to replace them in pairs.

Okay, maybe I was wrong. It just looks like it would come out with only removing the grill.
