See some interesting trucks and SUV's in here, so I thought I would throw up a few pictures of mine as well. Truck is still nowhere near being finished, but it is a work in progress.

    1994 Ford Ranger
    5.0L 320+ Hp(still is not tuned properly)
Camburg LT in front (16-17in of travel)
    Camburg Bedcage
    Deaver LT springs
    16in RaceRunners (15-16in of travel)

A pic of the new bumper from more than six inches away would be nice.

The amount of exposure on the front wheels bothers me. You want clearance, yeah, but you also don't want the wheels to take a direct hit if you run into something large and immovable. You might want to get a brush guard that hangs down a bit over the front wheels to protect them from tree stumps and large rocks.

for the type of wheeling that truck is built for, those are not a worry.

Will he not be going fast enough to worry about hitting anything?

a prerunner truck is used in the open desert. There really isn't much to hit.

I did pick up on the "desert" bit, but I guess I was thinking Mojave, not Sahara. Well, whatever. If he's not going to install wheelguards, then hopefully he won't end up needing them.

The picture of the bumper was taken with the intent of showing the skidplate, I just mentioned the bumper as an afterthought. Hence why the picture is so close, and does not show the entire thing.

I'm not looking for clearance, I am looking for travel. With whoops ranging from 1ft deep to 3ft deep, ground clearance is a worry, but not a major one in this case. The more that is in the way of my tire, the less travel, whether it be bump of droop, I will get.

At this point, I am only running 33in tires, with the intent of running 35's, so a brush guard would only hinder me. Your concern is valid, but I have had a friend smash a rock with these Ibeams, and the only thing that resulted was a dent and some missing powdercoat.

The sand dunes are pretty free of things to hit, other than other trucks/bikes.

and if he's hitting those it doesn't matter what he has on the truck, he shouldn't be out there.

when i read the title i thought you might have been using the shitty ford/mazda v6, and I would have had to laugh at you.

But you're not and the truck looks great. So good job!
