94-97 Land Rover Discovery

    Anyone heard any problems about this truck?
    i'm looking at one now that has brush guards and pretty good options...

    not sure about the mileage, i test drive it tomorrow

    the asking price is $7985...

    anyone?

    yeah ive noticed that late model discoveries are going pretty cheap, saw a 98 discovery II for 15k with 48k miles...been really thinking about getting one for my girlfriend....just dunno if thers something i should worry about

    yeah, i tested a few of them, and i really couldn't believe it was so new, had the build fo a car from the 80's and the looks :ugh:

    it jsut seemed to be a fairly cheaply built car, people complain about fords and chevys having bad build quality.....

    all in all i was really disappointed in them, plus the hood latch is on the passenger side :greddy:
     
  6. i have an '03 and i have no complaints. but then again the newer ones have come a long way from the series you are talking about.
     
  7. if he has an '02 then doesnt he still have the free service plan for 5 years or up to 50,000 miles? the only problem ive had with mine was when the winshield wipers didnt work but that was cause of an ice storm.
