i have a few questions for you guys. i am looking a 2 F-150's i am considering buying. one is a V8 longbed with 151K miles and the other is a straight 6 short bed with unknown mileage right now. my guess is its updet 150K. what are the good points of these trucks. is it worth spending the extra cash and gettin the V8? gas money is no problem either, i am basically looking for something to last me a good 2 years till i pay off the new bike i am gonna be buying in the spring.
    thanks Eric

If I remember correctly (and I could be wrong) the 300 I6 is a great strong running motor. Tows pretty well also. I'd just go with the I6.....

I have had a 93 I-6 and a 95 302 V8 and i loved the I-6. It never gave me any problems (besides the typical oil pan leak that i fixed) and it ran very strong with 160 xxx miles. The 302 was more powerful but was already factory rebuilt at 140 xxx miles. I would go for teh 6 cyc

I6, plenty to hold you over, and probably a bit more reliable.
