Is there any milsurp lead-core ammo out there?

I want to shoot my Mauser indoors but not at $8.95 a box

all of the milsurp I see does not denote whether or not it is steel or lead core :dunno:

go buy a mosin and use the lead core stuff maybe.

I have Bulgarian heavy ball lead core 7.65x54r I use at the NRA range. I got it from AIM (http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/Bulgarian_7.62x54R_Heavy_Ball_174grn.html). It sparks ( :mamoru: ) but they permit it. I just can't find the equivalent in 8mm. With all the Eastern Bloc countries using x54r there are a ton of options, but I don't see the same with 8mm.

I am going to be sticking with ammunitiontogo.com for awhile.

Remington loads a 170gr Corelokt but you're probably going to pay $15-20 a box :hsughno:

What about a 91/30 at a 25 yard indoor range with small booths? I ran 100 rounds through mine off-hand and I thought my brain was going to shake into jelly.
